4yr old English X American Staffordshire Terrier Rescue in DRIVER, Northern Territory for sale

EOI's welcome: Diesel was a member of our family in late 2011 when he desperately needed a home (backyard breeder needed him gone, although we didn't have the room being registered breeders ourselves, we took him in, loved him, and waited for the right home for him), until late 2012 when he was rehomed with a family that we believed would give him the attention he deserved.
Unfortunately he was found on the streets in Parramatta (Sydney) recently and was to be sent to the local pound. His owners of the last 3 years have been uncontactable and never updated his microchip details. We weren't going to let him be put down, so we arranged for Diesel to be freighted all the way up here in the hope we could do right by this amazing boy and finally find him a loving family. We would love to keep him on ourselves but do not have room for an extra dog.
It breaks our hearts. He has an amazing temperament. Very lovable and great with kids. Gets along with other dogs, but dislikes living permanently with another male in confined quarters, a female companion however he would love immensely and dote over. He is desexed, vaccinated and treated for fleas, ticks and worms. He was 22kg-25kgs when we last saw him in 2012, however he has dropped to 15kgs since then. Despite this he is in high spirits as if nothing ever happened. He has been vet checked and is perfectly well, no longer malnourished and is steadily putting on weight.
The price of $300.00 is to rule out impulse purchases, sinister persons, and hopefully ensure he goes to a home that can meet his financial needs + understands the responsibilities of owning a dog (please no offers of lesser amounts - appreciate that we just spent close to $1000 in freight to give him the chance of a loving life and not to be put to sleep at a mere 4 years of age!). We are not making any money from his sale, rather a huge loss, but he is worth every cent - we just want a loving home for this boy.
